
Amina Bawa
Amina Bawa is a journalist from PUC – Rio de Janeiro and editor of the magazine Brasil Mood. Currently, she also works as a professor of Information and Communication Technology at Chapitô, the most famous circus school in Lisbon, while being an assistant director at the same institution.
Amina Bawa has a Master’s degree in Culture and Communication from the University of Lisbon, where she developed a broad project in the Portuguese capital: “ÁfriCá – Cultural practices of African origin in the metropolitan region of Lisbon”, which seeks to rescue African roots through cultural practices, in order to empower communities and give visibility to the diverse identities of Africa in Portuguese territory. In Brazil, Amina worked in several areas such as in trade union communication and in production at museums and cultural spaces.
